Fit-outs and building access

Commercial work usually has more to negotiate than the electrical scope itself. Building management wants a certificate of currency and an induction before anyone starts, the lease has a make-good clause that determines what can be touched, and the work often has to happen outside trading hours.

We handle that side of it. Send us the building's contractor requirements with the scope and we will have the paperwork in before the first day on site.

Emergency lighting compliance

AS 2293 requires emergency and exit lighting in commercial premises to be discharge tested every six months, with the results recorded in a log book kept on site. It is one of the first things a fire safety audit asks for, and one of the most commonly missed.

We run the test, replace failed fittings and batteries, and leave the log properly filled out.

Strata and building managers

We work with strata managers and building committees on common property. That means itemised quoting that a committee can approve, invoicing that matches the approved scope, and reporting that makes sense to people who are not electricians.
